Damion Blundell's use of organic paints made from wildflowers, native tree resins and crushed pearl shell engage the viewer with their gentle tactility and his large canvases and broad expressive strokes create a dynamic flow. Many of the colours used are soft and muted because Damion says he loves working towards a sense of beauty. Many works feature an overwritten text which is softened to the point of illegibility. They are informal prayers to bless whoever takes in the painting.
There is a reluctance to provide literal explanations of his work because much is instinctive. "What the painting means or is about is generally not up for discussion or debate because it is beyond me," he says. "All I do is set up the canvas. I never have an idea of what I am doing or where I am going with it."

Jos Myers was born in Subiaco and spent her formative years in Perth. She studied music and classical ballet for many years; however, her enduring passion was to become an artist.
Her inspiration to this day remains Brett Whiteley. “A Difficult Pleasure” was born.
A move to Sydney’s northern beaches at eighteen saw her initially painting surfboards and designing surf wear art. She then went to live in Hawaii and in 1992 had her first solo exhibition in Maui; this coincided with the birth of her son Reif. The lush landscapes and the vibrant colours of Hawaii left an indelible mark on her paintings.
On returning to Perth in 1997 she started her own studio/gallery Maverick. Jos has since exhibited in Melbourne and West Australia.
Her works remain quintessentially Australian and as such are valued by both private and corporate collectors.

West Australian Artist Jeremy Holton is one of Perth’s own, iconic Visual Artists. Holton established his professional artistic career in 1994 with his first solo exhibition of Pilbara landscapes at Woodside Petroleum in Perth, with the exhibition then travelling to Karratha, West Australia.
Holton interprets the diversity and beauty of Australian landscapes through his modern analysis of impressionism; incorporated within his recent works Holton juxtaposes his strikingly vivid landscapes with whimsical, dreamlike Chagall-esque figures.
Through Holton introducing the figurative into his paintings we feel a complete sense of emotion which is separate to his landscape although encapsulated within it.
Since first exhibiting, Holton has had highly successful annual exhibitions at galleries in Perth, Broome, Yallingup, Mandurah, Adelaide, Melbourne, Cairns, UK and the USA.
His paintings have been published in several books, CDs and magazines for publishers including the Australian Broadcasting Commission, Michigan University Press, the New York Art Guide and Palette Magazine.

Carol Rowling studied at the Carine College of TAFE and the Claremont School of Art (CSA) in Perth Western Australia from 1991 to 1995. Upon leaving CSA she continued her art practice by joining several Art Societies and Art Source.
Carol has participated in many group exhibitions and has won numerous art awards; she has had works acquired in private collections and has been commissioned to paint a collection of artworks for a corporate resort.
In the year 2000 Carol became a member of the Robertson Park Artist's Studio. Having a studio space has enabled Carol to continue to freely express herself. Her abstract approach to the exploration of texture and paint has developed into a unique form of painting which she calls breaking colour.
This process results in the revelation of astonishing colours and textures that are physically and emotionally moving to the viewer. Carol says that there is no narrative intent. It is purely subjective to the viewer.
