Ainslie studied a Bachelor of Art's degree in Communication and Cultural Studies from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. Ainslie is Past-Vice President and continues to support the Friends as Councillor on Committee of the Friends of the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
